Broadway

The village is situated in the northern part of the Cotswolds, with good access to the rest of the Cotswolds. It is commonly referred to as "the jewel of the Cotswolds" and one well-known travel book describes the High Street (where the Olive Branch is situated) as "one of the most beautiful in all England, if not the most beautiful."

Art galleries, antique shops, boutiques, jewellers and gift shops can now be found on the High Street, which once boasted 33 pubs and a number of butchers and grocers. There is even a Christmas shop. There are 3 pubs and 5 restaurants in the village and many other excellent eating houses within a few miles of the guest house.

Not far away are countless places of interest. Just up the road is Stratford on Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Within 30 minutes drive are other famous villages and market towns. Market towns include:- Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-in-the-Wold. Villages include Snowshill, Stanton, Stanway, the Slaughters, the Swells, Bourton-on-the-Water, Burford and Woodstock (birthplace of Winston Churchill), just to name a few. Larger cities and towns with many interesting things to do and see include Cheltenham, Gloucester, Worcester and Oxford (less than 1 hour by car) and Bath (1 hour and 15 minutes). London is less than 2 hours away by car or train, as is the Principality of Wales. The Garden
